BABIES

Babies! Not only are babies one of my most favourite things to photograph but i truly believe that i have learned the most about my approach to photography sessions from these little delights. Their sessions have forced me to slow down my movements, be patient and take my time every step of the way - helpful tips for nearly anything i've been shooting! They have also helped concentrate my photography style to what i'd consider 'pure & simple'. My newborn shoots generally consist of few or no props and only simple, natural colours as i find it allows the focus to be directly on the baby and all of their delightful, tiny, perfect little features. Sleepy-type newborn shoots are best done in the first few days (and up to two weeks), but obviously babies are adorable at any age so, it's always worth a session!
